I bought the book for my uncle and he loved it.It brought back alot of good memories.Then I read it and enjoyed it very much and that is why I am giving my review.Great work Dave.
This book is full of interesting stories & facts about the Brooklyn Dodgers and their drive to win. Among other things, it tells about how prolific the Silver Fox (Duke Snider) was in the 1950's leading all players in home runs & RBI's. Even though I grew up in the 60's with players such as Wes Parker, Maury Wills, Willie Davis, Don Drysdale, and Sandy Koufax; this book showed me how great a team the Dodgers were in 50's. I never realized they made so many World Series appearances during that decade (1952, 1953, 1956, and who could forget 1955; where they won it all). This book will bring back so many memories for Brooklyn Dodger fans and all baseball fans alike.
